Connectivity Solutions

Access is vital for companies whose employees work on the road, in remote offices, or at home. Access expands the usability of your business network with round-the-clock accessibility to the data and resources your employees need. Let Dimakh Consultants help you provide your remote employees with access to your company network via high-speed analog and Digital communication lines.
Dialup Lines

PSTN Solutions:

With dial-in access, your staff can access company resources, including their own workstations, as if they were working in the office. Employees can read electronic mail, transfer files, and use graphical browsers such as Mosaic and Netscape. If you have an internal Web server, you can provide easy access to company information to employees anywhere in the world.
In addition, their access can include the entire Internet, if you choose. Users will be able to send electronic mail and use FTP to transfer files to and from other organizations. Using a graphical browser, they can find product information and services available from other sites on the World Wide Web.

ISDN Solutions:

Integrated Services Digital Network is a digital circuit for carrying voice, video and data simultaneously. These characteristics make ISDN suitable for point-to-point video conferencing and Data Transfer. You can also connect G4 fax machines, PCs, telephones and video conferencing equipment to an ISDN line. With installation of special devices (Terminal Adapters) you can connect your computers to ISDN line. There are two flavors of ISDN: the BRI-type and PRI-type. Basic Rate Interface (BRI) segregates the phone line into two B-channels and one D-channel. The B-channels can be used for two simultaneous voice calls, or one for data and one for voice or both for video or data. The D-channel is a control line used for signaling. With Primary Rate Interface (PRI) you get 30 B-channels and one D-channel. With ISDN you get bandwidth of 64 or 128Kbps.

Leased Lines:
These are terrestrial and dedicated circuits that are used for point-to-point connectivity. Enterprises and corporate can use leased lines for interconnecting their offices or branches. These circuits are also used for connecting an enterprise network to an Internet service provider (for gateway services), or to VSNL (for international private leased circuits). Leased lines circuits can be bought in capacities of 64Kbps and multiples. Typically, enterprises use 64K links to interconnect offices and 2Mbps links for connecting locations that exchange high volume of data.

VPN Connectivity

As it is most commonly defined, a virtual private network (VPN) allows two or more private networks to be connected over a publicly accessed network. In a sense, VPNs are similar to wide area networks (WAN) or a securely encrypted tunnel, but the key feature of VPNs is that they are able to use public networks like the Internet rather than rely on expensive, private leased lines. At they same time, VPNs have the same security and encryption features as a private network, while taking the advantage of the economies of scale and remote accessibility of large public networks.
A VPN is an especially effective means of exchanging critical information for employees working remotely in branch offices, at home, or on the road. It can securely deliver information between vendors, suppliers, and business partners, who may have a huge physical distance between them. Since companies no longer have to invest in the actual infrastructure themselves, they can reduce their operational costs by outsourcing network services to service providers. VPNs can also reduce costs by eliminating the need for long-distance telephone charges to obtain remote access, as client need only call into the service provider's nearest access point.
