We are hiring an experienced Executive - Sr. Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a hosting environment with expertise in server management, cloud platforms, and networking tools. This role involves providing technical leadership, troubleshooting critical infrastructure, and ensuring smooth server operations. What You Need

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to teammates through coaching.
    • Lead technical operations in mission-critical hosting infrastructure environments.
  • Server Management:
    • Manage, configure, and maintain both physical and virtualized servers (Linux and Windows).
    • Install, configure, and manage operating systems and essential services.
  • Cloud and Virtualization Expertise:
    • Work with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure and virtualization tools such as XEN and Hyper-V.
  • Network and Tools Management:
    • Handle tools like cPanel/WHM, Plesk, routers, and switches.
    • Ensure smooth operations of DNS, email servers, Apache, MySQL, IIS, and MSSQL.
  • Protocol and Communication Management:
    • Expertise in protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, POP3, HTTP, DNS, FTP, and SSH.
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution:
    • Analyze and resolve technical issues promptly.
    • Audit support tickets and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Scripting and Automation:
    • Familiarity with scripting languages to automate and streamline processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to resolve issues.
    • Maintain strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges.
  • People Management:
    • Foster collaboration and manage team performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Minimum Experience Required

  • 1-2 years of experience in a hosting environment.
  • Expertise in cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and server environments (Linux and Windows).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and virtualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
